Athabaskan jewelry designer Coren Conti has
created a new line of jewelry that is inspired by
abstraction and fueled by innovation. Her sharp eye for contrasting color, defined form, and at times, the slightly irregular is the powering force behind a collection that defines bold, innovative and contemporary art jewelry.

At her studio in Scottsdale, Arizona her ultimate goal is to create finely crafted, wearable jewelry.
The current jewelry line is made with sterling silver and embellished with exquisite layers of
semiprecious gems such as zebra jasper and absolute black jade, native to Arizona. Conti is passionate about contemporary jewelry as an art form, and has been highly motivated by the works of German and Japanese conceptual jewelers.

Conti's interest in jewelry design started at the age of twelve when she began her art career at Tyler School of Art and Moore College of Art in Philadelphia, studying jewelry, glass and drawing techniques.
By the age of fifteen, Conti was designing and
marketing a line of silver wire and beaded earrings to a growing clientele. In 1991 Conti graduated from the renowned School for American Craftsmen at Rochester Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Jewelry Design. This is where she learned the traditional fundamentals of jewelry
fabrication. Today, Conti continues to keep her work inspired by the shapes and textures of the southwest while also transcending the lines of traditional Alaska Native jewelry.

Conti's work has been collected in many private and public collections.
